In this post, we will give you a beginner’s guide to the Infantry division in COD WWII. We will tell you what sort of play style we recommend that you have if you are looking to play as infantry and we will also tell you how to use the class so you can hit the game and start winning as soon as it is released.
The best way to think of infantry’s soldiers on the front line. You will also get the bayonet skill which further illustrates that this is for soldiers who like to run straight in and get stuck in!
The great thing about the infantry class is that although will be able to run and gun and use this division effectively like that, also be able to attack at range and depending on the weapon attachments that you pick you will be able to customize this division to make it more of the long-range class.
This means that if you have a run and gun style which is more of a beginner style this will be a great want to start with if you just want to get stuck in. Or if you consider yourself as a marksman at mid-range this is a fantastic division to do that with the right setup and attachments.
The main division skill with infantry is the bayonet charge, this is effectively handy as a run and gun skill if you want to catch people off guard as you will be able to launch this while sprinting and many enemies expect you to shoot; so, when you are using the bayonet can catch them off guard.
You also get some division training that will allow you to add two extra attachments on to your primary weapon and one attachment to your secondary weapon, we will talk more about the different loadouts later but this skill allows you to set your infantry division up as more of a mid-range marksman.
You also have some basic training which will give you perks while playing the game. With infantry, you will be immune to shell shock and tactical equipment and you will also be able to sprint for longer distances.
You also have the Hunker training that will reveal enemy equipment and you will also take less explosives damage.
If you look at the basic training above will say that all of it complements a class that is either a run and gun or even if you are using it as a marksman with the right attachments; it suits a class that will get stuck in to the action.
We will have more on the way about the infantry division and the other classes in COD WWII we hope that you found this useful and is giving you a little taster of the different play styles that you can use with the infantry division!
